El Bosque (Spanish "the forest") is a municipality ("comuna") of Chile located on the province of Santiago in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. It has an area of 14.1 km², a population of 175,594 (2002 census) and an average household income of $15,426 in PPP US dollars (2000).
