El Boleo

El Boleo is a Mexican copper mine. It was operated by a French company who had obtained control of the mine through a concession made by Mexican president Porfirio Diaz. The French community established an hospital to treat the mine's workers. The Greek doctor Diamant Hadji-Mihaloglou was briefly in charge of the medical services at the hospital; he then returned to France.
