[edit] Journal
April 26th, 2005
I truly feel like the moment is all that really matters.
It is the moment that defines us.
It makes us who we are, in all situations.
A marriage is destroyed in the moment.
A human is murdered in the moment.
Events can compound and express later on, but essentially they were all defined by the moment as well, though left unseen until it is released.
After all, is there actually anything other than right now?

One Day The World Will Fall.
Or at least that is our hope. If so, then we can justify our actions.
We can say, "You Only Live Once", and "Tomorrow May Not Come".
But imagine a life in which we did not die.
Where suicide was not an easy way out.
Where we were forced to face the consequences for our actions.
Where we had today, and tomorrow, and an eternity thereafter.
We would know times would sometimes be hard, and that things would
get better at some point-- undoubtedly to repeat the cycle.
We would never grow old because there would be no need to.
And urgency-- this "as-fast-as-possible", "now-or-never" lifestyle
that is killing both us, and our planet, would cease to exist.
That's what I hope for. That's what I want to beleive.
