Eighth Street-NYU is a station on the BMT Broadway Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Eighth Street and Broadway in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, it is served by the R train (all times except late nights}, the N train (late nights and weekends), and the W train (weekdays). It is the closest stop on the Broadway Line to New York University.
The station was renovated in the 1970s and again in the 1990s. The walls now feature Tim Snell's Broadway Diary mosaics.
