Eido Tai Shimano Roshi is a Japanese Rinzai Zen Buddhist teacher whom received Dharma transmission from Soen Nakagawa Roshi in 1972. He currently serves as abbott for two zendos, New York Zendo Shobo-Ji and Dai Bosatsu Zendo Kongo-Ji, both located in New York.
