Eichenau

Eichenau is a municipality in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck, in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated 20 km west of Munich (centre).

Eichenau is home to a decent-sized lake, which attracts many sun-worshippers in the summer months, as well as a large sports centre, complete with outdoor beach volleyball courts.

There is no longer a Gymnasium Eichenau, as it 'merged' with Gymnasium Puchheim, located in Puchheim - Bahnhof, and many residents of Eichenau send their children to Puchheim schools.
