Talk:Ehud Tenenbaum

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article seems to be written almost exclusively from the first person, the point of view of a major contributor to this article. This obviously needs to be changed, but I'm not sure how to put it in encyclopedic format. The lower paragraph, containing the main body of text, is also unsourced, and I'm wondering if most of the text might have to be scrapped or seriously rewritten. - Bootstoots 21:50, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

I see it's been reverted. Please disregard the above. - Bootstoots 21:51, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I left the editor an explanation about why his/her statement can't appear in its present form. So, I am reposting his contributions, minus his email address below:

"Sadly, what almost none knew before I had the chance to end up on the information provided here to the eyes of the world is that alot of the truth was left oblivion from the eyes of others, as knowing "The Analyzer" well, I know the truth behind the entire story. Thou again I cannot tell most of it, but the key behind this is that Ehud never was the person to triger the high alert on the network security systems that the Pentagon used, in fact he had access to the Pentagon for almost two years before the incident acured, the mistake he did was to give the access to several USA citizens, whom were members of a several hacker groups, and were under the guidence of The Analyzer, striving to learn some of the most powerful techniques from him, they made a mistake one day while beeing in one of the main security terminal servers , they triggered the defcon national security alert. most of it i cannot explain , but what I can tell is that the analyzer took the entire blame on himself, as many would concider that act foolish, many others, including myself, would concider it a perfect ethical act, as the fact Ehud was an Israeli citizen and not under the united states authority, he was only sentenced to 1 year and 11 months of prison, and released earlier before. He done this in the favore of his fellow USA hackers, to protect them since for them, breaking into the pentagon is a serious federal crime and the punishment for which is heavily more severe than it could possibly be for Ehud.

Two more remarks which I might add , is that Ehud was working for the shabaq and another organization in Israel, for over a year , before the entire incident with the Pentagon was blown out. the 2nd is that he is now out of jail and working on a secret project (legal ofcorse), starting a start up company that will suposely bring a revolutionary new security for the entire world wide web as we know it.
