Egyptian Engineering Day

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The IEEE Egyptian Engineering Day (EED) has become the annual nexus for the engineering community in Egypt. It is organized by the IEEE Egypt GOLD Affinity Group, and has been held annually in July/August of each year since 2002. This event is an opportunity for electrical, electronic, computer and mechanical engineering professionals in Egypt to meet new associates in the field, share ideas, collaborate on projects and learn something new. It is also becoming the official front end event for other IEEE activities in Egypt, such as the Made in Egypt (MIE} and Idea 2 Product (I2P) competitions.

For executives in the technology industry, the event is an important focal point where they can enhance their network, discover new talents, meet with their peers across the field, and share their visions on the direction and development of the industry. For freshly graduated engineers, the timing of the event is suitably chosen to introduce them to the engineering market.
