Egyptian American

Egyptian Americans are Americans of Egyptian ancestry, first-generation Egyptian immigrants, or descendants of Egyptians who immigrated to the United States. A large community of Egyptian Americans is located in northeastern Virginia and the Washington DC metropolitan area. Other Egyptian American communities are concentrated in Jersey City, New Jersey, Steinway in Queens, New York, and Detroit, Michigan.
According to the U.S. Census, 142,832 Americans are of Egyptian descent.
