Egil Danielsen (born November 9, 1933 in Hamar) is a former Norwegian athlete.
Danielsen grew up under poor circumstances in an orphanage. Nonetheless, he won a gold medal in the javelin throw at the 1956 Summer Olympics with 85.71, a new world record at that time. Also, he finished second in the 1958 European Championships. He won the national javelin throw championships for five years in a row (1953-57).
Danielsen is now a minor political candidate for the Norwegian Pensioner Party.
