EGADE

EGADE (Escuela de Graduados en Administracion y Direccion de Empresas) is the Graduate School of Business at ITESM (Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, or "Monterrey Tech"), a university system with 33 campuses in 26 cities in Mexico.
EGADE was created more than 30 years ago in Mexico City as the business and financial heart of Mexico, also a second campus was located in the metropolitan area of Monterrey, 180 miles south of the US-Mexican border, which has been classified by Fortune magazine as Latin America's most attractive city for business.
The institution also maintains nine satellite locations in Latin America, more than 1,500 distance learning sites, and seven foreign offices in North America, South America, Asia and Europe. It has an enrollment of 1,100 graduate students, an alumni network of over 5,600, 77 full-time faculty. More than 78% of full-time students are international representing a total of 22 nationalities. EGADE's alliances with 130 universities in 31 countries and students may choose to participate in exchange programs, double-degree programs or academic trips.

The MBA curriculum comprises 15 courses. Students in the full-time MBA obtain the degree in 16 months.
Since 1995, EGADE has grown from an initial offering of one academic program, with 650 students, to six Masters courses, one doctorate in Management (PhD), two post-masters certificates and other top management programs, which together reach more than 1,400 business executives in Mexico, Central and South America, North America and Europe every year.
EGADE has been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business {"AACSB") in the USA and the European Quality Improvement System ("EQUIS") in Europe.
It has been ranked first in Latin America by América Economia magazine, a Dow Jones publication, for four consecutive years. The School also has the highest position among Latin American business schools in the most recent Financial Times rankings.
The No.1 business school in Latin America, and No.16 in the world, according to The Wall Street Journal, 2003. In 2002, EGADE was included for the first time in this ranking, achieving the No.27, the highest position ever given to a first time school. Among the top 20 business schools outside the United States, EGADE is the first and only Latin American school included in the BusinessWeek bi-annual MBA ranking, 2002.
