EFG Eurobank Štedionica

EFG Eurobank Štedionica (full name: EFG Eurobank Štedionica a.d. Beograd) is a Greek-owned bank in Serbia. It is the local arm of EFG Eurobank-Ergasias.
EFG Eurobank Štedionica came into existence on October 23, 2006 when the merger between EFG Eurobank Beograd and Nacionalna štedionica (both majority owned by EFG Eurobank-Ergasias) became official.

- On March 27, 2003, Greek bank EFG Eurobank-Ergasias acquired 68.06% stake in Serbian bank Postbanka.
- During 2004 EFG Eurobank-Ergasias increased its stake in Postbanka to 93.5% and officially changed its name to EFG Eurobank Beograd.
- In August 2005, EFG Eurobank-Ergasias purchased 100% stake in another Serbian bank - Nacionalna štedionica - and promptly carved it organizationally under the umbrella of EFG Eurobank Beograd (though initially keeping Nš namebrand).
- During 2006, EFG Eurobank-Ergasias started work on merging its two Serbian entities. The merger became official in October 2006.
