In regards to the comment about needing to check daughter's name.
The family tree done by his grand-daughter-in-law has the children listed as
Michael Stewart Pease Nicholas Arthington Pease
Edward Pease's wife, Mary Gammell Davidson, mother was Mary Gammell Stewart and her mother was just plain Mary Gammell. So the daughters inheriting names was not unknown but a source got mixed up on generations.
