[edit] Wakefieldian Colonization Theories

Doing some editing on Joseph Despard Pemberton I came across the reference to Wakefield and the Dictionary of Canadian Biography piece referred to in the article in the Further Reading section. Looking at the article in the same Biography source on Pemberton there is reference to him following Wakefieldian principles for colonization and then later in the article of his abandonment of those ideas. Apparently Wakefield, despite his pecadillos, had significance in this way that seems to be overlooked in this article. I was going to link to the Wakefield article on this point, but lacking mention of his theories I guess I won't for now. Since there seems to have been a lot of work done on this article, I thought some mention of the regard his theories seem to have had might be useful here..
