Edwin Seroussi

Edwin Seroussi is a leading contemporary musicologist. Currently professor of musicology and director of the Jewish Music Research Centre at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, he examines Jewish musical traditions in North Africa and the Middle East, as well as Israeli popular music.
Seroussi's publications include Spanish-Portuguese Synagogue Music in Reform Sources from Hamburg (1996) and the Cancionero sefardi (1995) by Alberto Hemsi.
