Edwin Roxburgh

Edwin Roxburgh (born 1937 in Liverpool) is a British composer.
He studied composition with Herbert Howells at the Royal College of Music, Nadia Boulanger in Paris and Luigi Dallapicolla in Florence.
He taught composition and conducting at the Royal College, where he founded the RCM's Twentieth Century Ensemble. In 2004, he became the acting Head of Composition at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
Edwin Roxburgh is Associate Composer of the London Festival Orchestra.
