Edward Lascelles, 1st Earl of Harewood

Edward Lascelles, 1st Earl of Harewood (7 January 17403 April 1820) was a British peer and the son of Edward Lascelles (a customs officer in Barbados).

He was a Whig who made his fortune through the slave trade. On May 12, 1761, he married Anne Chaloner (c. 174222 February 1805), and they had four children :
