Edward Jan Habich

Edward Jan Habich (Spanish Eduardo de Habich) (b. January 31, 1835 in Warsaw - October 31, 1909 in Lima, Peru) was a Polish engineer and mathematician.

Founder of the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, a renowned engineering school in Lima, Peru. Also a member of the Peruvian Geographic Society and an Honorary Citizen of Peru.

He took part in the January Uprising in 1863.
