Edward E. Simbalist

Edward E. Simbalist (5 September 1943 - 12 March 2005) was a role-playing game designer. Two of the most famous games he designed are Chivalry & Sorcery and Space Opera. He was Canadian and lived in Edmonton.

"With love and sorrow Anne Simbalist announces the passing of her dear son. Edward is predeceased by his father, Edward N. Simbalist. Heartfelt thanks to those for their help and kindness in his care these past years. There will be no services. Published in the Edmonton Journal on 4/20/2005."
