[edit] Babel

Hey Eduard Gherkin, nice to see you got the Babel in there now, I just added mine a couple days ago. You speak more languages than I do! Croat Canuck 02:45, 22 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] TonofEdits

I found this tonofedits thing, and I thought you might find it interesting. You can move it around if you want or delete it, but I added it onto my page and its really cool. Croat Canuck 03:53, 22 September 2005 (UTC)

I would just like to let you know that I accept your nomination of me as an Rfa. And I thank you kindly. Croat Canuck 03:41, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you

Thank you for your support of my adminship bid, Eduard Gherkin. I am happy to announce that I have successfully been voted an administrator, and wish to say that I will work harder to make Wikipedia a more reliable source of information.

[edit] stubs

how did you leave a particular stub? How did you know specific stubs, like scifi stubs? Are there other lists like that? And where can i find a list of images? Hope that exams go well. Don't Panic, and good luck! JamieJones talk 20:01, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikimedia Canada

Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 17:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wisniewski

No problem at all. CJCurrie 23:31, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Zanta

Yeah, that Zanta article you wrote was vandalized over two weeks ago unchecked. Maybe if you were on Wikipedia more you would have caught it... I'll let you handle it whenever you decide to return. Godspeed. Croat Canuck Go Leafs Go 03:55, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your comment, comrade. We all have the ability to revert vandalism, and the administration personnel can revert it quickly and efficiently. You'll notice that if you go to the history of the page, I reverted the vandalism already. Even more so, Zanta is not my page, it is Wikipedia's collectively. It is unfortunate that this negative air surrounds this encyclopedia. I have never left. I do not plan to leave!!! I have been reading Wikipedia articles almost daily. It is sad to hear such negative comments which infringe on my freedom of expression. But thank you for your comment, for you have the right to say it. Eduard Gherkin 11:52, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
I am sorry comrade, you reverted vandalism once. But if you look in the history, and closely, at the bottom of the article it says "It has been rumoured that Zanta's antics are a product of too much LSD use. There is nothing beyond hearsay to confirm this." And that has been there for over two weeks. Furthermore, I never said it was your article, I just said you wrote it. I myself have no interest in changing my valued reputation by editing an article about a street dancer. As well, if it were up to you, I'm sure street dancers would be paid the same as ice hockey players. I have a problem with that, and I do not wish to further involve myself with your Wikipedia affairs by touching that Zanta article. Chow. Croat Canuck Go Leafs Go 16:05, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for your reply. If I do recall correctly, I was inspired by a fellow editor to put this Zanta article onto Wikipedia ;) . I now understand that this is the "vandalism" to which you are refering, but as Wikipedians, it is up to all to revert where each sees fit. This mentioning in the Zanta article about LSD use does claim that there is nothing but hearsay to confirm this. Being that this is not stated as a fact, but it is admitted that it is hearsay, I did not consider it vandalism; but, I can see where you are coming from and I, for one, believe in peace. Be it that you are unwilling to fulfill your administrative duties, I shall revert it and thus be the mediator of this small squabble. Besides, petty arguments would do more to hurt your valued reputation than reverting vandalism. Ciao, comrade. Eduard Gherkin 20:05, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
