Eduard began reading Wikipedia articles in 2004. Although he does not use Wikipedia for research projects specifically, he does use it to broaden his spectrum of ideas and gain new sources to help with research. Eduard is an INTJ, but sometimes on the cusp of being ENTJ.

Eduard's interests include:
- Philosophy and Religion (particularily the teachings of Jesus Christ).
- Mysticism (particularily Gnosticism and the Kabbalah).
- Eduard has a newfound interest in conspiracy theories, although he does not believe half of them.
- Politics (Eduard is a member of the New Democratic Party. He claims to be a democratic socialist in practical terms, but he is a communist at heart.)
- History (specifically Ancient History, World War Two, and he knows much about Nazi Germany).
- Mathematics (especially theories concerning fractals, sacred geometry and the Golden Ratio).
- Psychology (especially the theories of Carl Jung).
- Sociology (mostly information on religious cults, televangelism, and the theories of Karl Marx).
- Languages (Eduard is currently learning French and Esperanto.)
- Astronomy (especially amateur astronomy.)
- Music (mostly so-called "classical" composers and various modern artists).

- Sports (except for some Olympic events and the World Cup).
- Romance (the actual love-based romance is fine, but sappy romance is too much).
