Edurne Pasaban

Edurne Pasaban (born August 1, 1973) is a Spanish mountaineer. She is the second woman, after Wanda Rutkiewicz, that has climbed eight of the fourteen eight-thousanders in the world:

She was born in Tolosa (Gipuzkoa, Spain).
She is only the third woman currently alive that has climbed K2 (the others being Nives Meroi and Yuka Komatsu). She partially lost several toes to frostbite.
