Eduardo Noriega (born August 1, 1973 in Santander, Spain) is a Spanish film actor, perhaps best known for his roles in two Alejandro Amenábar films, the multiple Goya-winning Tesis and the Hollywood-remade Abre los ojos. He also starred in the 2004 film El Lobo.Eduardo is the youngest of seven brothers and the only one who decided to become an actor. While he was a child, he actually devoted himself to music. However, when he grew up he decided to leave his Law degree and his love towards music and move to Madrid in order to become an actor.

He acted in several short films of directors Alejandro Amenábar, Mateo Gil and Carlos Montero and he appeared in a short role in the well known Spanish film "Historias del Kronen". But it wasn't until "Tesis" when he had his first star role in a film that became one of most important successes in the history of Spanish films. Amenábar confessed in a T.T interview that he actually didn't want Eduardo in Tesis in the first place, thinking he was just a "pretty face", although his co-workers thought otherwise. In the end he called him again because he preferred him over the other actors in the casting. After that they became really good friend, sharing different projects together, such as another Spanish film hit, "Abre los Ojos" ( "Vanilla Sky" in the Tom Cruise's review).

With Leonardo Sbaraglia, he also acts in "Plata Quemada" ("Burnt Money"), an Argentinian gay film directed by Marcelo Piñeyro.

In 2002, he is the main actor in "Novo", a French film directed by Jean-Pierre Limosin. Eduardo Noriega appears completely naked in this film.

In 2006, he has played the role of Count of Guadalmedina in "Alatriste", the most expensive film in the history of Spanish cinema. The director is Agustín Díaz Yanes, and other actors in this fil are Viggo Mortensen, Javier Cámara, Ariadna Gil, Blanca Portillo, Juan Echanove, etc. "Alatriste" is based on five novels written by Arturo Pérez-Reverte.
