Twintone (talk • contribs) I've been working on Wikipedia for a few months now. I like to work specifically on comedy related articles. I've noticed there are several note worthy comedians, comedy acts, etc. not on here that are worth noting as well as several things on here are lacking. I've been getting into researching through interviews and articles and expanding onto articles.
Reviews
- Nice work! I'm always very impressed by editors who pick a subject and dedicate themselves to it, mainly because I drive myself crazy editing the smallest of spelling mistakes on any page I can lay my hands on :) It is fantastic that you are working on expanding existing articles, and even creating new ones. My only complaint (if it can even be called that) is this – I think that you may need to up your Talk and User talk edits. Wikipedia is such a growing, collaborative community, it is important to establish a rapport with other editors to gain their feedback on your actions (although you have taken the first step by doing this!), and also to provide your own feedback on their actions (and hope to God that they will take it the right way!). If you are having trouble with image uploading issues, I recommend this picture tutorial; hopefully it will assist you somewhat. Also, endeavour to provide edit summaries for all your edits – your past 50 contributions all show summaries, but the earlier ones are a bit sparse :) Keep up the good work, and happy editing! — riana_dzasta • t • c • e • ER • 01:43, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- As Riana said above, you're off to a strong start, and it's nice to see new users involving themselves strongly in a particular area. Working on the assumption that you'd like to become an administrator here someday, you could benefit from getting into some Wikipedia processes like recent change patrolling (newpage patrolling, in particular), and perhaps even AfD debates: they're excellent ways to build up your knowledge of how we handle content, which will be useful to you in the future. Keep up the good work! RandyWang (chat me up/fix me up) 08:10, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- I added a piece on Martin DeMaat, a teacher and instructor to several more well known comedians and extremely influencial. Additionally I've done work on Mick Napier and the Annoyance Theatre. I've created categories for Second City and Second City Alumni and would like to add more to these areas.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- I think it is important and extremely beneficial to have info boxes and pictures on articles, specifically biographies. I've found it difficult to find pictures that qualify as fair use and Wikipedia seems a little uncertain on whether or not certain photos (i.e. publicity photos and headshots) qualify.
