  • You think of yourself as tmorton166, yet sign as Errant... confusing. Computerjoe's talk 17:12, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
Yes I'll admit it's confusing. The reason is that Errant is my online tag that I use every else - but of course errant was taken as a username. Tmorton166 is the name I always use as a username - hence using that here, I use both in my signature just so everyone can see who I am. :D It is very confusing but O have seen more confusing examples.... --Errant Tmorton166(Talk)(Review me) 18:26, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Ah, well, you're probably one of the most friendly users around Wikipedia (w/ Kylu, FireFox, Essjay etc.) I kinda summed it up in the reply I made to the comment you posted on my talk page, so, yeah...keep up the great work, and I'm sure the Mop won't be too far away, unless you do something stupid like I did :P Killfest2|Daniel.Bryant (Talk) 12:17, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Taken from the talk page: So, when another wiki user mediates in a way you don't like you tell them to "Go away for a few months" very NPOV *rolls eyes* "in regards to graalonline article" daniel did nothing wrong and moderated it quite decently and talked to many people on both sides about many things, but that does not matter now... Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Well my first ever contribution was MINERVA (mod) which I created at the request of the mod's creator - and really what got me into using wikipedia. I consider that to be one of my best simply because for a first article it wan't too bad! Since then I have contributed to several articles (wikifying and the like). However out of all of them the 2 that stand out for me is my contribution to Micro Mart (which I am currently in the process of rewriting here ) and the creation of Template:Computer Magazines.
  1. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
To be honest no major conflicts. I am semi-active in the Mediation Cabal but that role is to difuse conflicts not escalate them. I am generally a well mannered person and also don't often take offense (Ive heard worse than any wikipedian can through at me) so I dont generally end up in disputes. Probably my biggest 'dispute' was here when I was a little ratty and didnt explain myself well. The actual dispute was more of a disagreement between me and one other user over what I said (admittedly I was wrong in places) but it was all very amicable and turned out ok - mostly because I gave up in the end. ALthough I do intend to bring part of the discussion up in the WP namespace discussions - namely the part about using sites that rtequire registration / payment as sources - when I can find the right forum (any suggestions for thge place to do that?)
