Sreed1234 (talk contribs) I have been a contributor since late September, 2005. My initial edit was to remove a dead link on an article was drawn it to working on more. Initially, most of my edits were to reality television pages. I then saw a really big gap in Olympics coverage and have spent a lot of time working on those pages. Working on Olympics pages has also spawned my new interest in helping to clean up untagged images, and removing images that are violating copyright. Sue Anne 03:24, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Reviews

  • Sue Anne is a friendly and very polite editor, who works well with others. She has contributed massive content to the Olympics related pages with an excellent grasp of templating, styling, NPOV. She has done a lot of work in image tagging, keeping WP within the bounds of the lawand showing thorough knowledge of the Image copyright policy. I would be comfortable becoming an admin and doing image deletions, etc, but others may want some more WP space contribs and article-talks first. This can be easily rectified.ßlηguγΣη | Have your say!!! - review me 04:29, 2 May * 2006 (UTC)
  • Sue Anne seems like a good user and she asked a good question to me at WikiEN-L! Computerjoe's talk 18:19, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
  • Sue Anne is a great user. First, I noticed her massive olympic contribution but now she became active on wide areas of WP. I asked her if she would accept an admin nomination, waiting for an answer. --Tone 23:20, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I'm really proud of all the work I've done on the Olympics pages. There isn't one specific page or group of pages that I can point at and say that it is better than the others. Before I became obsessed with cleaning up images, one of my goals was to have at least a stub for every medalist in the 2006 Winter Olympics and 2000 Summer Olympics. I'm slowly working on that goal.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
There were some very tense situations between the Olympics editors a few months back. There have some editors that have done thousands of edits and were the ones deciding how things should be formatted. A couple of relatively newer users thought that they had the answers on how things should be done, the organizational structure, etc. This brought a little tension. At times, I put my opinion into the mix. And, there were other times where I just took a couple of steps back, bit my tongue and continued to work on pages and ignore the mayhem for a few days. There are two guiding principles in how I judge things here - is it legal and is there consensus. By following those two things, I'm managing to keep myself sane and motivated to continue to work on the project.
