Michaelas10 (talk contribs) I've been an active user since June, in that time I've been in every Wikipedia field exept administration, but don't get me wrong, I am not planning for RfA until I turn 16 because I believe I still don't have the responsibility required. I am currently not participating a lot in RfA and AfD but I'm pretty active at the barnstar and award proposals. Please review me. Michaelas10 19:18, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Reviews

  • You seem like a good varied editor. Perhaps you should contribute more to talk pages of articles? It is a good idea to get some experience in AfDs and RfAs to learn more about how Wikipedia works - that is, the rules which show what articles are allowed. If I can think of anything else, I'll add it. Thanks for my review by the way! --Alex (Talk) 18:42, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
  • I agree with Alex in that you have to discuss more in article talk pages. I suggest selecting an article about a topic you like (sports, science, gaming, etc), and begin working to improve it, adding references and polishing the prose. I also suggest fetching an article with many active editors and begin discussing how to improve it. As an administrator you will have contact users and mediate, and without experience discussing with several users at the same time in a talk page, people would worry about your future nomination. Also, I am worried about the images you have been uploading, as you never source them. In example, many may know Image:StraussElite logo.jpg is the logo of Strauss-Elite, but you need to point out from where you picked it. Add the URL if you have picken it from a web page, explain that you had scanned it (from where, when, etc), etc. Good summary usage! Again agreeing with Alex, participation in RFA and XFD is necessary if you want to become an administrator, but more interaction with other uses is also advisable. Good luck! -- ReyBrujo 19:26, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am proud mostly of my created articles, and the articles I'm writing at this moment, but I am also very proud of the Wikipedia Youth Foundation which grew to about 50 members now.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I've been in a two conflicts at the time I was a newbie in Wikipedia, one over stub sorting and one over copyright tagging. I didn't handle well the first one but I decided to agree after I was proved wrong at some point. I quickly agreed to the second one as I didn't note it wasn't copyrighted at first. In the future, I would probably check if my edit was indeed wrong and if it was, I would revert it myself and avoid arguing. Michaelas10 19:45, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
