Kf4bdy (talk • contribs) I would like to be reviewed in order to find my weaknesses before I try a second attempt at RfA. I have made many improvements since my first RfA and I hope to get some tips on further improvements. Kf4bdy talk contribs 22:30, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Reviews
Three things I noticed:
- Mass inserting of "Delete per above"'s into AfD discussions is rarely looked upon favorably.
- It seems like your last editorial contribution was back in June. Everything since then seems to be reverts and warnings.
- Almost no interaction on Article talk pages.
Most of your contributions are "mechanical": reverts, vand warnings, welcome messages, and said mass "per aboves". Most editors, me included, expect personal interaction -- editorial contributions to articles, resolutions of edit conflicts on talk pages, debates in AfD, RM, and other WP areas. I would think that you should focus on those before considering a run at AfD. Hope this helped and good luck. ~ trialsanderrors 09:00, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- Answer I am pleased with the work I have done to combat vandalism here at Wikipedia. I am also proud of the work I have done to welcome people to Wikipedia. I feel that this gives Wikipedia a more human face instead of being viewed as a mechanical process.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- Answer I have had some minor problems in the past with an article I created being nominated for AfD. I did not handle that situation as well as I could have, but I also learned a tremendous amount from that situation. I would not repeat it for anything and I now understand that AfD is not something personal. In the future, I would reach out to fellow members of Wikipedia for support and assistance rather than trying to handle a stressful situation on my own.
