Edius is a video editing software package developed and sold by the Canopus Corporation. Edius 4.0 is the most powerful version yet of Canopus's non-linear video editing programs. It supports all video formats, multi-track, mixed format HD / SD editing, compositing, chroma keying, titling, with realtime and timeline output capabilities. It has over 50 new enhancements of the previous Edius 3.5. It is an expensive, yet amazing video editing program costing $699 dollars on average.
