EDi Rail is a rail company based in Australia. Formed by a merger of Walkers and Clyde Engineering, it is currently a division of Downer EDi. EDi Rail services include design, manfacture, refurbishment and maintenance of rollingstock.

  • Electrification of the Cranbourne line, formerly served by a diesel service.
  • Rehabilitation of the overhead wires on the Upfield and Pakenham (Dandenong-PAK section) lines.
  • Track maintenance for Freight Australia
  • Refurbishment of 98 Comeng trains for Bayside Trains, and later M>Train.
