[edit] no drastic changes?

In my opinion, the sentence "However no drastic consequences have occurred to their style." should be changed. It was probably written before the album Rocket Ride came out, and for sure Rocket Ride seems to me like a pretty drastic change (compared to Theater of Salvation for example). What do you think? how is their name pronounced is it "ed guy" or is it suposed to be "edgy"?

It's ed-guy. Like the name "Ed" and the word "guy" :P Not too sure how that works out in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). --IronChris 16:39, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

In my humble opinion, the sentence above is not 100% impartial, and it may be considered a critique of some sort. Is there anyone who actually thinks the same? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by M3TALL1CA2000 (talk • contribs).

I agree that it isn't 100% encyclopedic. Maybe a more suitable wording would be something like "the melodies allied to Sammet's high-pitched voice make Edguy a rather typical example of European power metal". Well, that's a first shot anyway! IronChris | (talk) 18:15, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
