Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart

Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart is a private high school located in Madison, Wisconsin in the Diocese of Madison. It is run by the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters. In the 2006-2007 School year, it enrolled approximately 600 students. Also on the "Edgewood Campus" is the Edgewood College and the Edgewood Campus School, an elementary and middle school.
Edgewood began as an all girls academy in 1871. Boys were first admitted in 1924 and a new building is completed being the name Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart in 1927. Recently celebrating its 125th anniversary, the school has great history dating back to Samuel Mazzuchelli and Governor Cadwallader Washburn who once owned the land Edgewood sits on.

Farley has a special degree of local fame around the school for allegedly being responsible for decapitating one of the statues in front of the school during a botched senior prank, and for putting a cow on the 3rd floor of the school as a prank.
