Edam is a village in Saskatchewan, Canada. It had a population of 429 in 2001.

Edam is a very small town and is a hockey town.

The Senior Team, the Edam Three Stars, have won their league for 8 years in a row! Our rink is not fancy, but we can skate! WE have 34 banners from provincials and league winnings. We are the hometown of Fiona Smith-Bell, who played in the Olympics for the Canadian Women's hockey team. We have a tiny school, but it works. Our Population is going down a little, but we are still successful in hockey and small businesses. We have churches everywhere, making it a cosy town. I, personally, love Edam. I like small towns with the peace and privacy. We are not very wealthy, we only buy what we need. We don't jazz up the rink with artificial ice. Natural is the ONLY way to go. Come visit our little town with many tourist attractions such as the Windmill to show our Dutch heritage, our rink, our church, and museum. Written by an Edam Citizen [1]
