Ed Wyatt

Edward "Ed" Wyatt (born 1962) is an American Australian sports journalist and television presenter.
He currently works as one of two SBS Television Melbourne-based reporters. He reports on all things American sport, including NBA basketball, NFL football and Major League Baseball. He also contributes his weekly North American Notes segment.
Wyatt has hosted SBS’s live coverage of the Super Bowl since 2002, the World Series (2002) and World Ice Hockey Championship (2004).

Ed grew up in Portland, Oregon and played a wide range of sports including football, basketball as well as tennis and has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Stanford University. He taught English at Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma, WA for 4 years while also coaching football and basketball.

Ed’s career in television started in Seattle, as both a writer and performer of sketch comedy on the program Almost Live! and in the process the program won five Emmy awards.
Ed joined Fox Sports World, an international sports network, in 1997 and worked as the face of Australian rules football and has hosted English/Scottish/German Premier League matches. He was also the writer responsible for the weekly English Premier League show that was seen nationally across the USA.
In 2004, Ed joined Melbourne's SEN 1116 where he co hosts Born In The USA with Steve Salisbury.
In 2006 he was a voiceover for the Nine Network’s Celebrity Golf Shoot-Out.
