Ed "Cookie" Jarvis is a competitive eater from Long Island, New York, and is a top ranked eater and long-standing member of the International Federation of Competitive Eating. Jarvis has earned numerous records and titles including his first title -- World Ice Cream Eating Champion (1 gallon, 9 ounces in 12 minutes).

After struggling in the 2004 season, he came on strong in 2005. He won the San Genarro Cannoli Eating Contest, the NJ Pizza Eating Contest, the Buffalo Buffet Bowl and placed in the top four in the Alka-Seltzer US Open of Competitive Eating.

The former IFOCE Rookie of the Year is among the most colorful of all competitive eaters. Those who follow fashion have paid special attention to his full-length trench coat, which features all of his titles, all of his media appearances and an air-brushed image of himself (fans refer to this image as "Mini Cookie").

Cookie, an imposing figure both physically and at the eating table, lives in Long Island with his wife and two children and works as a real estate broker.
