Ed Gein (band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ed Gein is a three-piece political straightedge metalcore and mathcore band from Syracuse, NY, named after killer Ed Gein.
Each of the members perform vocals equally; there is no lead vocalist. They are currently on Black Market Activities / Metal Blade Records.
Musically, the band takes influence from such bands as Coalesce, Fall Silent, Turmoil, Backstabbers Incorporated, and Pig Destroyer. Ed Gein's lyrical content tends to be very blunt and straight to the point. Topics are often politically/socially aware and challenge the listener to think about their actions and the world around them.
