[edit] Barely Legal & iN DEMAND
This entry gives conflicting information about why the PPV provider iN DEMAND did not carry the show. In the main body, it says that they were "very hesitant at putting ECW on pay-per-view because they felt that ECW was too vulgar and brutal, and did not air the show", whereas the trivia section suggests that it was a direct result of the Mass Transit incident. The two bits of info also disagree as to whether they actually carried the show. Does anyone know for sure? Bigbigtom367 17:33, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well, Paul Heyman himself says on the "Rise & Fall of ECW" DVD that iN DEMAND did temporarily drop Barely Legal from its schedule after the Mass Transit incident, but he managed to talk them into changing their minds. That's where the trivia item comes from. And while it is true that pay-per-view broadcasters were apprehensive about airing ECW programming because of their content, iN DEMAND actually did air it after all. --MattSutton1 20:14, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
