ECW World Television Championship

The ECW World Television Championship was the secondary title in Extreme Championship Wrestling from 1992 until it folded in 2001. The title was almost on level with the ECW World Title when Rob Van Dam held it due to the calibre of matches he had and the calibre of opponents he faced. He had a sensational 23-month reign as champion that only ended due to an injury. His title reign had propelled him into the World Title picture when the injury occurred.

The last ECW World Television Champion was Rhino, who held it until ECW folded. According to Rhino, the physical title belt was stolen from the ECW locker room. ^[1]

Most reigns	2 Cold Scorpio	Four	Scorpio first took this record on August 25, 1995, upon winning the title for the 3rd time from Eddie Guerrero. He had previously shared the record with Guerrero & Dean Malenko. Scorpio won his 4th title on January 5, 1996, after he defeated Mikey Whipwreck.
Longest reign	Rob Van Dam	700 days	Van Dam beat Bam Bam Bigelow for the title on April 4, 1998. He would hold the title through all of 1999, before being forced to vacate the title on March 4, 2000, due to a broken ankle.
Shortest reign	Taz & 2 Cold Scorpio	<1 day	Taz beat Sabu for the title and lost it to J.T. Smith on March 6, 1994. Scorpio beat Jason Knight for the title and lost it to Dean Malenko on November 4, 1994.
Oldest champion	Jimmy Snuka	49 years	Snuka beat Glenn Osbourne for the title on March 12, 1993. He would lose the title to Terry Funk on October 1 of that year.
Youngest champion	Glenn Osbourne	21 years	Osbourne won the vacated title in a battle royal on September 30, 1992. He would lose the title to Jimmy Snuka on March 12, 1993
Heaviest champion	Bam Bam Bigelow	360 lbs.	Bigelow beat Taz for the title on March 1, 1998. He lost the title to Rob Van Dam on April 4 of that year.
Lightest champion	Jason Knight	180 lbs.	Knight beat Mikey Whipwreck for the title on August 13, 1994. He lost the title to 2 Cold Scorpio on November 4 of that year.

• 3 former TV champs, Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, and Rob Van Dam, would go on to win a Heavyweight championship in WWE.
• 5 wrestlers have won the ECW Heavyweight, Television, and Tag Team championships. The first to accomplish this was Johnny Hotbody, who won the Tag title with The Suicide Blondes on April 3, 1993. Next was Sabu, after he won the Tag title with The Tazmaniac on February 4, 1995. Mikey Whipwreck was the next man to do this, after winning the Heavyweight title on October 28, 1995. Next was Taz, after winning the heavyweight title on January 10, 1999. Rob Van Dam did so after being awarded the ECW Championship on June 13, 2006.
• According to the wrestling radio show Between The Ropes, the ECW Television Title was stolen from the locker room during a show.
• The only wrestler to win both the WCW and ECW Television Championships is Chris Jericho, having won the WCW World Television Championship on September 10, 1998 and the ECW TV title on June 22, 1996.
