This article should have focused on pre-1949/1945 China. Post-1949 materials should be moved to economy of the People's Republic of China. — Instantnood 19:17, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

I disagree. Generally, Economy of X articles focus on the present state of the economy. Almost all of the Economic history of X articles include information on their respective countries up to the present. Also, this article is long in itself, moving it to Economy of the People's Republic of China would make that article unwieldy.--Bkwillwm 22:08, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
First, this article should not be focusing on post-1949 economic history only (the pre-1949 section is too brief). Second, China = PRC is not a NPOV. — Instantnood 01:13, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
