Echteld (51°55′N 5°30′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Neder-Betuwe, and lies about 6 km east of Tiel.

In 2001, the town of Echteld had 514 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.15 km2, and contained 207 residences.[1] The statistical area "Echteld", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1180.[2]
