[edit] Rugby union
Hi Eastpaw, I have seen that you contribute a fair bit to rugby related articles. If you are interested, be sure to check out Wikiproject Rugby union. Cheers. Cvene64 04:58, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Page movements
Hi Eastpaw! I see that about a week ago you moved a bunch of pages (Brumbies Rugby, Cats (rugby franchise), Sharks (rugby franchise), Bulls (rugby franchise)) by creating an article under a new name, copying the content into there, and making the old article into a redirect.
It is really important that you don't do this.
If you do, it breaks the history in half. All changes prior to your move are now in the old article's history, everything since is in the new one. Instead you must use the "move" tab at the top of the page. If you can't do that (I believe that new users are restricted from moving pages), you can go to Wikipedia:Requested moves and file a request for the page to be moved.
I have fixed up those four, so they are now in their correct place with all history intact. Can you tell me if you moved any other articles in this fashion? I couldn't see anything looking at your contributions.
Thanks! —Stormie 09:35, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:ZZ top.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:ZZ top.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Rossrs 03:51, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
