Seems to be very minor. Only change seems to be in the southwest. Why the name change? Population-wise, the 2001 district (same trend for the general area) has grown only marginally, at 0.7% between 1996 and 2001, compared to ~5% province-wide.

I put the results for both East Kootenay and Kootenay in this page because they are very similar (virtually the same) districts. So I believe the results are comparable. -maclean25 22:04, 23 May 2005 (UTC)
