From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
East View Cartographic is a leading provider of geospatial information. They have played a role in gaining access to and then marketing original geospatial information from China and Russia, pertaining to Asia, South America, and Africa, areas of the world for which the United States of America does not have tactical maps at the 1:50,000 level, with contour lines.
Their capability is notable primarily in the context of proving the value of open source intelligence, and were one of the six companies that responded, pro bono, with useful open source information when asked to do so by the Aspin-Brown Commission.
