East End Lions

The East End Lions is a Sierra Leonean professional soccer club based in the capital Freetown, Sierra Leone. They play in the Sierra Leonean Premier League, and their home games are played at National Stadium in Freetown. They are one of the most successful soccer clubs in Sierra Leonean football history; having won the National League nine times and the Sierra Leonean Fa Cup three times. In 2006, They qualified for the 2006 edition of Caf Champions League but lost to Ivorian side Asec Abidjan in the first round.
They have an intense rivalry with fellow powerhouse Mighty Blackpool. East End Lions and Mighty Blackpool are two of Sierra Leone most successful clubs. Mighty Blackpool have won the National League ten times, and East End Lions nine times.
