East 34th-Campus (RTA Rapid Transit station)

East 34th-Campus Station is part of the RTA Rapid Transit system in Cleveland, Ohio.
It is a heavy rail subway style combined station with a high and low leval platform near the Great Lakes Farmers Food Terminal on the Red Line. Both the Light Rail and the heavy rail subway cars share the station.
The Rapid Transit System in Cleveland acts as a main line linking the east and far west sides by rail and reducing the number of buses on city streets as well as travel time. RTA Buses are routed to feed into most of the rapid stations The Term Campus is a misnomer as the Cuyahoga Community College is located quite a distance The 76 and 10 bus routes that serve Broadway which was at one time the main north south streetcar line are on the bridge above. The passengers that use this station usually work for the U.S. Post Office main sorting center up one block from the station. The Norfolk Southern Nickel Plate Railroad line west yard throut is just on the other side of the station. The Rapid uses the catanary of the Cleveland Union Terminal or CUT railroad at this point
