East 105th Street is grade-level station on the BMT Canarsie Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of East 105th Street and Turnbull Avenue in Brooklyn, it is served by the L train at all times.
The view from the waiting area above the platform is picturesque, allowing views of the trains and tracks. At the very end of this station station, there was formerly a gate-protected gate crossing, the only one in the New York City Subway. It was eliminated when the station was rebuilt in 1983.
Next to the Manhattan-bound track is a bumper track that leads to the Canarsie Yard.
