"Easily Affected" is the first track to be released from Melissa’s forthcoming new album "Glamorous Life" (in store December 2006). The infectious hook of the chorus and Melissa’s sugar sweet vocals coat the driving dance floor groove. Released in Spring "Easily Affected" is sure to heat up the clubs and airwaves well into summer. "Easily Affected" was written, produced and mixed by Swedish pop hit-makers 2N. The Single features the previously unreleased D.O.N.S remix of "The Glamorous Life".

Melissa filmed the video for Easily Affected in September 2006 at Sydney's Martin Place train station. The clip features Melissa parting with her lover and walking around the deserted station at night. Her new band (featuring an acoustic guitarist, backing singer and percussionist) are spotlighted here for the first time.

"Easily Effected" was released on October 21, 2006 in Australia on CD Single format. The D.O.N.S. mix of 'The Glamorous Life' is a slightly truncated version of the mix issued on 12" in Europe earlier in 2006.
