Earl Brutus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Earl Brutus were a British indie rock band who had a degree of popularity in the late 1990s. The band was formed by World of Twist's Gordon King, and featured Nick Sanderson (who played with The Jesus and Mary Chain on their Munki album), Martin Wright, Jamie Fry (brother of ABC's Martin Fry) and Shin-Yu. Earl Brutus had some minor hits including "The SAS And The Glam That Goes With It" and "Come Taste My Mind", and were reknowned for their raucous live show, which often featured spinning signs, neon lights and messages written in wreaths.
