Eadfrith of Lindisfarne

Eadfrith of Lindisfarne (died 721) also known as Saint Eadfrith was Bishop of Lindisfarne from 698 until 721. He is most notable as the scribe who copied and illuminated the Lindisfarne Gospels, although they were not completed and bound until after his death.
