DZR
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
DZR (dezincification resistant brass) is an alloy use to make pipe fittings for use with potable water.
Dezincification typically occurs in brass alloys containing more than 15% zinc and can be caused by water containing sulphur, carbon dixoide and oxygen. Stagnant or low velocity waters tend to promote dezincification.
